It's easy to reserve time during our open play hours. We also accept drop-ins although space is subject to availability.
A Space for ALL KIDS to Play
The Playroom is a space for calm and purposeful play where you and your children will laugh, play, and learn without becoming overstimulated and exhausted. It is a community center for families that believe in play-based development and the inclusion of all kids.
Parenting can be hard and we wanted to make it a little easier. So we designed the Playroom to have less “no” and a lot of “yes”. Every corner has been intentionally designed to help children learn and grow through play. We focus on activities, toys, and equipment that teach emotional regulation, encourage creativity and problem solving, and facilitate active play.
Active Play
Crawling Corner – Practice crawling, standing, walking, and tummy time in this soft area designed for exploration.
Overcome Obstacles – children will problem solve to travel across the climbing zone and plan to overcome the ever-changing obstacles.
Gross Motor Play – navigate up and down the 2-level play structure by climbing, jumping, sliding, swinging, and more!
Exploration & Creative Play
Showered in Sensory – Throughout the space, your littles will find things to explore through touch, sound, and sight. Textured tiles, lights, and rainmakers are just a few of the ways we stimulate the senses.
Sprinkled with STEM – Build, create, experiment, and solve with our open-ended toys like Bright Day blocks and variety of magnetic toys.
Pretend & Relaxing Play
Imagination Stations – Let your imagination run wild on the first floor of the play structure with regularly rotated pretend play options.
Calm and Cozy – Believe it or not, play can be challenging and sometimes we need to relax. Escape to a dark space with calming lights or get cozy with a book or puzzle.
Hours
The Playroom is excited to see you for open play in the mornings from Wednesday through Friday and on weekends. Additional availability can be seen when booking your playtime.
