stay & play

Come Play!

Enjoy watching your kid or kiddos play, learn, and grow in our chaos-free play area designed for all children infants-12 years old.

A space for ALL Kids to Play

The Playroom is a space for calm and purposeful play where you and your children will laugh, play, and learn without becoming overstimulated and exhausted. It is a community center for families that believe in play-based development and the inclusion of all kids.

Although we will be open in a few weeks, check out the above renderings of the play structure elements! There is also an area with soft play for babies, crawlers, and early walkers. We regularly rotate our pretend play and STEM-based toys.

Starting November 5th, The Playroom will be open for Stay & Play

  • Tues-Fri 9:00-1:00
  • Tues, Wed, Fri 3:00-6:00
  • Sat-Sun 9:00-11:00

We expect our hours to grow as we grow. We welcome your feedback on preferred times. Changes to hours will be updated on the schedule and posted on Facebook

The Playroom is most appropriate for babies through elementary school-aged children. We offer an enclosed space for our babies and early walkers. The active play and pretend play areas along with the open-ended toys will be fun for a variety of ages.

We have Rules and Community Standards to help keep The Playroom safe, hygienic, and enjoyable for everyone.

  1. Everyone who comes into The Playroom must sign a waiver.

  2. Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult at all times unless they are enrolled in a program that includes supervision.

  3. No shoes are permitted in the Playroom to help reduce dirt and other things from coming in. Barefeet, socks, and grippy socks are all permitted. We do provide shoe covers for any adults who need to keep their shoes on for mobility reasons. We do not provide socks.

  4. No toys in the climbing area

  5. Only 1 child on a climbing panel at a time. Do not climb under or over another climber. Do not sit or play on the crash pads.

  6. Only 1 child on the slide at a time. We encourage kids to both slide down and climb up, so make sure to check the slide before you go.

  7. Water is the only drink/food allowed in the play area. Please eat and drink in specified areas only.

  8. Change diapers in specified areas and dispose of diapers only in designated bins.

  9. If your child puts something in their mouth, drop it in a cleaning bin or let a team member know.

  10. Notify a team member immediately of any potty/food/drink accidents.

We have Rules and Community Standards to help keep The Playroom safe, hygienic, and enjoyable for everyone.

  1. Please, please, please don’t pass judgment on other parents or kids. This is a place for kids and parents to learn and make mistakes.
  2. Please talk to your children about approaching differences with kindness and without judgment. We want all children to feel included. We have a collection of books to help start the conversation.
  3. Help us all stay healthy – please keep your children home when they are sick.
  4. Help us keep The Playroom organized and safe. We know kids are messy and team members will be regularly straightening up the space. Please encourage your children to clean up as they go (as much as is reasonable for them). Most importantly, encourage your children to keep the toys in toy areas and away from active play areas, like the climbing wall. This will help keep everyone safe.

The Playroom has limited capacity: It is highly recommended that you book your time online. We cannot guarantee space to walk-ins.

Generally 90 minutes is a great length of time for a visit.

Everyone who comes into The Playroom must sign a waiver. This includes adults and children. Play is fun and comes with risks and grownups can get hurt too. If you haven’t signed a waiver in the past year, you will be asked to complete another one. You may also be asked to sign it sooner if we update our terms.

  1. Bring your own water bottle. We have a water bottle filler. Water is the only beverage allowed in the play area.
  2. You can bring low-mess, no-prep snacks and eat them in designated areas. We do not sell food or beverages.
  3. We do not have space for strollers, but all of our parking is pretty close.

Besides our no-shoes policy, all toys and surfaces are disinfected between play sessions and at the end of the day. We use child and earth-friendly Force of Nature (FON) when disinfecting. Force of Nature is a multi-surface cleaner, deodorizer and is an EPA-registered disinfectant. FON is free from fragrances, dyes, preservatives, surfactants, bleach, hydrogen peroxide and alcohol.

Membership FAQs

  • Community: We are creating a community of families who value differences, recognize that kids and parents are learning and will make mistakes, and embrace play as the way children learn and grow. Members make that community come to life.
  • Always Changing: We keep it fresh – new toys, new obstacles, new classes, new set up.
  • Prioritize Play: Memberships help make intentional play a priority at least 1x/week. With our app, you can schedule Stay & Play visits like you would your fitness studio workout.
  • Sibling Discount: Get more than 30% off when you add a sibling.
  • Incredible Deal: Memberships are the best deal! For $15 or less per visit (depending on the plan and number of children) we strive to make The Playroom affordable. And some services come with member discounts.

Membership pre-pays (at a discounted rate) for a certain number of Stay & Play visits each month. It also provides discounts on other services.

Space is limited and scheduling time in advance is recommended. Membership does not guarantee you a space during Stay & Play.

  1. Go to the schedule.
  2. Select a time. The time gives you a 30-minute arrival window.

If you are bringing multiple children, make sure to schedule time for each of them.

When you cancel your membership, the auto-renewal will stop. You can continue to use your membership until your month ends. Memberships will not be not be prorated or refunded based on unused or remaining days of the month.
