Amy Wilensky is a speech language pathologist with experience in working with
children of all ages in a variety of areas of speech, language, social communication and literacy. She has experience in working with children with language-based learning difficulties, Dyslexia, ADHD, developmental language disorders, pragmatic language challenges and articulation disorders. In supporting these children, she focuses on executive function difficulties such as attention, memory, and problem-solving. Trained through IMSE in Orton-Gillingham (OG) and morphology, as well as the Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) writing model, she combines language and literacy strategies to support all areas of reading and writing development, fostering the children’s ability to succeed in academic and social settings.
Amy provides a positive, playful and supportive environment to help children grow and learn. Passionate about parent education and collaboration, she provides families with the tools to support their children’s growth at home and build confidence and success in school.
Outside of work, she’s a mom of two daughters, enjoys spending time at home, and taking walks with their silly, energetic dog.
