Kim Irwin

Art Therapist, ATR-P

Brief info

Kim Irwin is a provisionally registered art therapist (ATR-P) who supports neurodivergent children, adults, and their families through creative, relational, and body-based approaches. Her work integrates person-centered therapy, somatic experiencing, and developmental theory, offering a compassionate and flexible space for clients to explore their experiences through art and play.

In addition to traditional art therapy, Kim offers Clay Field Therapy. This tactile, nonverbal modality supports emotional regulation and nervous system integration, particularly effective for individuals who may struggle with verbal expression.

Kim has a special interest in sibling dynamics and family systems. She facilitates group and individual sessions that honor each person's unique neurotype, fostering connection, self-expression, and resilience.

Outside of her professional life, Kim shares her home with a lively mix of companions: a dog, a cat, two curious rats, and two young sons who keep her creative spirit well-fed.
