Are memberships shareable among siblings?
Yes! All memberships can be shared among all children living in the same household (excluding 1-child and baby unlimited memberships).
Do memberships include siblings under 1 year old?
Yes. Siblings under 1 year of age are completely free when visiting with an enrolled sibling member.
What member discounts do I get on birthday parties?
All active members receive $50 off private birthday party packages at The Playroom East Cobb.
When is Play?
Check the calendar for the most accurate availability. Generally open Mon–Thurs 9:00–6:30, Friday 9:00–6:00, Sat-Sun 8:30–10:15 (hours may vary based on private events and Cobb County school breaks).
What age is The Playroom designed for?
The Playroom is designed for children ages 1–7, with dedicated safe areas for toddlers and young children.
Do you charge for babies?
Children under 1 year old are included at no extra cost when they come to play alongside an older sibling.
What are The Playroom Rules?
We have Rules and Community Standards to help keep The Playroom safe, hygienic, and enjoyable for everyone.
- Everyone who comes into The Playroom must sign a waiver.
- Children must be supervised by their accompanying adult at all times unless they are enrolled in a program that includes supervision.
- No shoes are permitted in the Playroom to help reduce dirt and other things from coming in. Barefeet, socks, and grippy socks are all permitted. We do not provide socks.
- Please try to keep toys in the area from where they came and out of the way of active play.
- Only 1 child on a climbing panel at a time. Do not climb under or over another climber. Do not sit or play on the crash pads.
- Only 1 child on the slide at a time. We encourage kids to both slide down and climb up, so make sure to check the slide before you go.
- Water is the only drink/food allowed in the play area. Please eat and drink in specified areas only.
- Change diapers in specified areas and dispose of diapers only in designated bins.
- If your child puts something in their mouth, drop it in a cleaning bin or let a team member know.
- Notify a team member immediately of any potty/food/drink accidents.
What are The Playroom Community Standards?
We have Rules and Community Standards to help keep The Playroom safe, hygienic, and enjoyable for everyone.
- Please, please, please don’t pass judgment on other parents or kids. This is a place for kids and parents to learn and make mistakes.
- Please talk to your children about approaching differences with kindness and without judgment. We want all children to feel included. We have a collection of books to help start the conversation.
- Help us all stay healthy – please keep your children home when they are sick.
- Help us keep The Playroom organized and safe. We know kids are messy and team members will be regularly straightening up the space. Please encourage your children to clean up as they go (as much as is reasonable for them). Most importantly, encourage your children to keep the toys in toy areas and away from active play areas, like the climbing wall. This will help keep everyone safe.
- Be mindful when taking photographs and video to respect others’ privacy. Avoid posting and sharing images that may include other peoples’ children.
What can I bring inside?
Bring your own water bottle. We have a water bottle filler. Water is the only beverage allowed in the play area.
You can bring low-mess, no-prep snacks and eat them in designated areas. We do not sell food or beverages.
We do not have space for strollers, but all of our parking is pretty close.
What happens during bad weather?
If you cancel online or text 404-480-3506 ahead of time due to weather, your visit will be returned to your account. If The Playroom closes, registered guests will be notified via email at least 1 hour before opening.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! You can purchase The Gift of Play online at any time. Gift cards can be redeemed for open play passes, visit packs, and memberships.
How do membership renewals and cancellations work?
All memberships auto-renew. Monthly and unlimited memberships auto-renew every month. Flexible memberships auto-renew every 2 months. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. Email play@theplayroomeastcobb.com.
