What age is The Playroom designed for?

Best for children 9 months–7 years old, and siblings up to 10. We offer a dedicated enclosed space for babies and early walkers. Mornings generally attract children 0–4 and afternoons feature a wider age range up to 10.

Do you charge for babies?

Children under 1 year old are free when visiting with an older sibling. Solo infants (under 1) are $15/visit.

Do I need to reserve time to play?

Due to limited capacity, booking online in advance is highly recommended. We cannot guarantee space for walk-ins.

How long is Play?

Generally 90 minutes is a great length of time for a visit.

Who needs a waiver?

Everyone entering The Playroom (adults and children) must sign a waiver. Waivers are valid for 1 year.

What are The Playroom Rules?

Supervise your children at all times. No shoes in the play area (bare feet, socks, and grippy socks welcome). Keep toys in their designated areas and out of active play zones. Only 1 child on climbing panels and slides at a time. Water is the only food/drink allowed in play areas. Change diapers in specified areas and notify team members immediately of any accidents.

What are The Playroom Community Standards?

Be kind and judgment-free toward other families and kids. Keep sick children home, help keep the space organized by cleaning up toys as you go, and respect others' privacy when taking photos or videos.

What can I bring inside?

Bring your own water bottle (water filler available; water is the only beverage allowed in play areas). Low-mess, no-prep snacks can be enjoyed in designated areas. Strollers cannot be accommodated inside, but parking is close.

What are the cleaning practices?

All toys and surfaces are disinfected throughout the day using child- and earth-friendly Force of Nature (FON) cleaner, which is free from fragrances, dyes, bleach, and harsh chemicals.

Can I bring a group?

Group play at discounted rates, private playdates, and fundraisers can be arranged by emailing hello@theplayroomeastcobb.com.

What happens during bad weather?

If you cancel online or text 404-480-3506 ahead of time due to weather, your visit will be returned to your account. If The Playroom closes, registered guests will be notified via email from stephanie@theplayroomeastcobb.com at least 1 hour before opening.
