Class Description & Benefits
Join us for Vocab Builders, an interactive class designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years and their grown-ups. Led by pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Natalie Brock, SLP, this class empowers parents with simple, evidence-based strategies to foster language development through play and daily routines.
Weekly Topics:
- Play Your Way: Learn how to follow your child's lead and turn their favorite toys into powerful tools for language development.
- Books, Songs & Beyond: Discover how reading, rhymes, and music can make learning new words fun, natural, and highly engaging.
- Breakfast to Bathtime: Transform everyday routines—like meals, dressing, and bath time—into rich language-learning opportunities.
Detailed Schedule Information
- Time: Tuesdays from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Includes 30-minute class plus 60 minutes of open play before or after)
- 9/22: Meet & Greet Q&A with the Teacher
- 10/6: Play Your Way (Building Vocabulary Through Play & Following Your Child’s Lead)
- 10/13: Books, Songs & Beyond (Building Vocabulary Through Reading, Rhymes & Songs)
- 10/20: Breakfast to Bathtime (Building Vocabulary Through Everyday Routines)
Pricing Information
- Single Class: $30 ($15 for members)
- Grown Up & Me 4-Class Package: $100 ($50 for members) — Eligible to be used with Grown Up & Me 4-Class & Play Package (which can also be used for Weekly Music Class (Thurs) and Mini Movers & Makers (Fri) classes).
