Handwriting isn’t about neatness. Like reading, writing is essential to learning. It is how we express ideas, share creativity, and demonstrate understanding.

Difficulty writing can stem from a variety of real challenges as it requires strength of the core, shoulders, hands, and precision in the fingers. It takes visual skills like knowing how big to make letters and where they go on the paper. 

When a child dislikes writing, it not only affects their school performance, but can stifle their desire to learn, communicate, and explore new concepts. The Playroom provides a unique space where children can develop strength in the ninja gym and fine motor skills in our classroom and can enjoy improving their handwriting.

Hands in Motion is a mix of core and upper body strengthening, play-based fine motor skills, visual motor activities, and handwriting practice to help enhance your child’s handwriting. This class is not therapy nor a substitute for therapy.
